The neurofibromas are benign tumors of the nerves with frequent substrate the presence of neurofibromatosis. Patients suffering from neurofibromas often have numerous tumors all over their body.

When a tumor begins to cause pain, manifested by loss of neurological function, pushing adjacent structures or show rapid increase in size, as a candidate for surgical resection.
